With the Sleipner project, Equinor ASA was able to demonstrate that CCS technology is safe and applicable on a large scale. The Norwegian company (formerly Statoil ASA) also accompanied the German pilot project for CO2 storage in Ketzin as an industrial partner in the two research projects CO2SINK and CO2MAN.
