At the Humboldt-Gymnasium Potsdam pupils have the possibility to inform themselves about recent topics in science and economy during their sience days.
With a discours and short films we (GFZ, Centre for Geological Storage CGS) gave an overview about the background of the research and the potential of scientific monitoring tools in the field of geological CO2 storage.
At the end we looked at rock samples from a storage reservoir and a cap rock for discussing the CO2 trapping mechanism.
