On December 03, 2013 three scientists from the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences of Beijing visited the pilot site. Here the GFZ presented the status and the planned research activities in the field of CO2 storage. Back at the GFZ in Potsdam, the guests gave an overview about CO2 storage possibilities in China.
