Ketzin receives further funding from BMBF

The pilot site Ketzin receives further funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in order to continue the research work within the CO₂MAN project for two more years. Since September 2010, CO₂MAN succeeds the EU-funded CO₂SINK project. Scientific partners of the CO₂MAN project include the GFZ in Potsdam, the universities of Leipzig, Stuttgart, Jena, Erlangen-Nürnberg and the UFZ Leipzig. Total BMBF funding for the three years period of the CO₂MAN project is 10.5 million Euros; additionally Ketzin receives funding from industry partners.
